Welcome to the Mt. Rona Missionary Baptist Church (MRMBC), where we "Operate in a Spirit of Excellence to Exalt the Savior, Empower the Saint, and Evangelize the Sinner"! Our collective vision for 2012 is that we are "Becoming a Church Addicted to Ministry" based on I Corinthians 16:15-18. With the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to glorify God, evangelize to the lost and make disciples that make a difference in the name of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to add new souls to the Kingdom, equipping and empowering each person to find and fulfill their God-given purpose. What a joyous time to be a part of the Mt. We invite you to worship at our Sunday Morning Services as we lift up the name of Jesus Christ. From the powerful Angel of this House, to glorious songs of praise, we are seeking God to do great things at Mt. Rona. Mt. Rona is a church on the move for Jesus! The Bible declares in I Peter 2:9, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." Therefore, we are thankful for what God is doing at Mt. Rona and for the eternal blessings the body is experiencing just because God IS good. So, come visit us. Greetings in the Magnificent Name of Jesus!
It’s a blessing to have the opportunity once again to share with you in our monthly publication. Through all of the challenges we face as individuals and a ministry as a whole, we still serve a mighty and an awesome God. I give our Lord and Savior all the glory, honor, and praise for what He has done and continue to do through and for our church family.
The Mt. Rona Missionary Baptist (MRMBC) family joins me in thanking everyone within and outside our ministry for their words of encourage-ment and phenomenal support during our transition. For the Word of the Lord tells us that we must, "Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2 KJV).
As we continue to move forward and do the will of God, I invite you to tune in to our announcements bulletin and church website for further details regarding our Worship Services being held starting this month in two locations. We magnify God for allowing us to celebrate in this month 44 years in ministry, believing and knowing that we’ve come this far only by faith.
You will also be able to obtain information about our FRANGELISM Sunday (3rd Sunday of each month), where you can extend the invitation to Friends, Relatives, Associates, and Neighbors to fellowship with us.
This month we are also honoring mothers. Mothers are a blessing to us, and we truly thank God for the love, support, nurturing, teaching, encour-agement, and most of all virtuous women of God. God’s written Word speaks to us through the apostle Paul’s letter to Timothy— "When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also" (2 Timothy 1:5 KJV). It makes us wonder, where would we be if it had not been for our mothers’ faith. I want to wish my First Lady Thompson, our Mothers’ Board, and all mothers a very special and Happy Mother’s Day. May the hand of God, and His blessings continue to be poured out upon you.
